Contact Garage Door Repair Waco
Calling is the fastest way to get a garage door sorted. Describe what it is doing and you get the price before any work starts.
Call
What to Have Ready
Four things make the call quick and make it much more likely the right part arrives first time:
- What the door is doing. Not moving, moving an inch and stopping, hanging crooked, reversing on the way down, or running noisily.
- What you heard when it failed. A bang points at a spring or cable. A hum with no movement points at the opener. Grinding points at rollers.
- Single or double door, and roughly how old the door and opener are.
- Your town or ZIP code so coverage can be confirmed straight away.
If the door is stuck open and the house is not secure, or a vehicle is trapped behind it, lead with that. See emergency garage door repair.
Before You Call, It May Help To
- Check the door is not manually locked, which many are without the owner realizing.
- Check the opener has power and the outlet has not tripped.
- Look at the shaft above the door for a two-inch gap in the spring coil.
- Look at whether one corner of the door is hanging lower than the other.
- Look at the sensor lights near the floor if the door will not close.
The symptom guide on the home page covers what each of those means.
